An Adventurous Elopement Celebration on the Pacific Northwest’s Orcas Island.

Sam and Justin contacted me about photographing their Washington elopement I was immediately excited about meeting them.  Sam had such a free-spirited personality that shone through on the phone.  Justin Grew up in West Washington and they were traveling to Orca’s Island to get married on the summit of mount constitution located in Moran State Park.

What is fantastic about an intimate elopement on Orcas island is it is full of possibilities. Orcas Island is a small island in the northern Pacific Ocean accessed by a series of ferries originating in Western Washington.  Orcas Island is the perfect location for a relaxed adventure elopement.  Orcas Island has several quaint towns, full of restaurants, book stores, and coffee shops.  You can go adventuring on kayak tours or a sailing trip and happen upon a pod of orcas or climb mount constitution and then go swimming in the cascade lake.  Truly the adventure couples elopement paradise.

Sam and Justin brought their children and a few family members for their brief intimate elopement ceremony on Mount Constitution and the went to Orcas lodge for a waterfront dinner with their family.

It was a magical elopement day full of trees and streaming sun rays, breathtaking views and loving family.
